This meetup group is hosted at my home on Mercer Island, where I have a af Yahama grand pianos (C7 7'4'', and a Yamaha CVP 409 Clavinova digital piano. We sight-read 4-hand and 8-hand piano music. Most of the 8-hand music is transcriptions of orchestral music (eg, Beethoven symphonies) that were fashionable as popular parlor music in the late 1800s and early 1900s. I decided to start this group because I want to find string players who live in South King County and on the Eastside, and who want to play chamber music with me.
