The Ivory Duo performs Greek and film music for piano duet

On August 15, an important celebration date in the Greek calendar, the Ivory Duo, a London-based husband-and-wife duet with Greek pianists Natalie Tsaldarakis and Panayotis Archontides, will offer a four-hand piano recital with works by major Greek composers Nikos Skalkottas (Peloponnese and Epirotikos Dances from the orchestral 4 Greek Dances; arranged by Dave Smith) and Yannis Constantinides (8 Dances from the Greek Isles; arr. P. Archontides), as well as their own arrangements of film music by Alex North and Bernard Herrmann (Citizen Kane, Spartacus, North by Northwest, A Streetcar Named Desire).
